Three-time sports car racing champion Wayne Taylor has won some of the most prestigious events in all of motorsports - the 24 Hours of Le Mans, the Rolex 24 At Daytona (twice), the 12 Hours of Sebring, and the inaugural Petit Le Mans. So it came as no surprise when his newly formed Wayne Taylor Racing team assumed the responsibility of carrying the SunTrust Racing banner in the hotly competitive Grand-Am Rolex Sports Car Series in 2007, that SunTrust continued its championship form. Since joining the Rolex Series in 2004, with Taylor and Italian star Max Angelelli sharing the driver's seat, SunTrust has finished in the top-three each season, culminating with the 2005 series championship. In 2008, as always, Taylor's sights are set on more of the same. |
