Miracle Sealants Steps Up to Sponsor Frisselle, Taylor at Daytona

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. (June 30, 2008) - Miracle Sealants, which has been giving special contest winners the chance to see the speeds and excitement available in a Daytona Prototype driven by Wayne Taylor in their "Miracle Sealants Ride of a Lifetime Sweepstakes," will also be helping two young racers get a fast ride at Daytona next week. The company has signed on to sponsor the No. 47 Ford-powered Dallara driven by Taylor's teenage son Ricky Taylor and Burt Frisselle in the Brumos 250 on July 3 for the eighth Grand-Am Rolex Sports Car Series presented by Crown Royal Cask No. 16 Daytona Prototype race of 2008.

SPEED will carry live coverage of the race starting at 8 p.m. ET Thursday.

The Daytona outing marks just the second Rolex Series race together for the young duo in the No. 47 Miracle Sealants/CDOC Ford-Dallara prepared by Doran Racing. Frisselle and Taylor combined for a strong seventh place finish in a challenging rain-soaked afternoon at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course last weekend.

"We're thrilled to be helping rising stars like Ricky and Burt this week at Daytona," said Al Salvo of Miracle Sealants. "We have a great relationship with Wayne Taylor, and because of that relationship, have been fortunate to get to know Ricky and Jordan Taylor. So to get the chance to help Ricky progress in his career is something we are all very excited about. We think he's the real deal, and having an experienced and fast teammate like Burt is going to be a great part of Ricky's continued progress."

The Brumos 250 event is the second race visit for the Rolex Series to the "World Center of Speed" in 2008, after opening the season with the Rolex 24 At Daytona. Ricky Taylor scored a top-five finish in his Rolex 24 debut, sharing the driving duties with his father as well as Michael Valiante and Max Angelelli.

The Daytona round will also see another group of Miracle Sealant contest winners receive rides at the famed 3.56-mile oval-based road course, with Miracle planning on hosting nearly 50 guests this weekend.

"The Salvos are close family friends, but Al wouldn't be doing this if it didn't make sense for his company, so I'm just really excited to get Miracle's support for Daytona," said Ricky Taylor. "Burt and I had a good first race at Mid-Ohio, but we think we can be closer to the front at Daytona, so hopefully we can do that under the lights next week."

The Daytona event will also be highlighted by the annual Grand Am visit to Boggy Creek, with the Frisselle Mini-Golf Tournament slated to start at 9:30 a.m. on July 2.

"We all know you can't participate in this sport without the support of marketing partners, so to have Miracle on board with us this weekend is huge," said Frisselle. "It's fantastic how much Miracle activates their sponsorships, and I'm really looking forward to meeting their guests this week at Daytona. Ricky did a great job at Mid-Ohio, and I'm really excited about what I think this package is capable of delivering."
