Miracle Sealants Treats Guests, Sweepstakes Winners to Ride of Lifetime

ARCADIA, Calif. (June 16, 2008) - At some point, most everyone has seen an auto race and wondered, "What must it be like to go that fast in a racecar?" Thanks to Miracle Sealants and itsmarketing alliance with Wayne Taylor Racing, who run the No. 10 SunTrust Racing Pontiac in the Grand-Am Rolex Sports Car Series presented by Crown Royal Cask No. 16, 10 Average Joes got to find out.
Only these Average Joe's were anything but. Three were winners of the Miracle Sealants "Ride of a Lifetime Sweepstakes" and the other seven were Miracle Sealants special guests, all were treated to two flying laps of the world-famous Watkins Glen International racetrack in a championship-winning SunTrust Racing Pontiac Daytona Prototype. Their chauffer was none other than Rolex 24 At Daytona winner and Champion driver Wayne Taylor.
For an hour and half on the Thursday evening prior to the Sahlen's Six Hours of The Glen race, Miracle Sealants had the track all to themselves. Each of the ‘co-pilots' donned a Miracle Sealants emblazoned driver's suit and helmet to take their place alongside Taylor in the cockpit of the Daytona Prototype for the most thrilling five minutes of their lives. Reaching speeds in excess of 150 mph, each guest experienced the speed and power that professional racecar drivers endure every race.
"WOW! What a wonderful experience. We've gained a whole new appreciation for what racecar drivers can do," said Roy Shores, one of the contest winners.
"This was an awesome and unbelievable experience that will always stand out at the top of my list," added Dean, another of the contest winners.
"The power and control was unbelievable to me," added Jody Stankiewicz. "When the car started to slide and Wayne saved it was the best feeling I could ever ask for!"
All of the guests and winners were then treated to a VIP race weekend that included a behind the scenes tour of the race team set up and a tour of the transporters and engineering rooms where team debriefing sessions are conducted. Drivers Max Angelelli and Michael Valiante showed off the racecar while chatting with all of the guests and answering their questions. Then on race day, it was exclusive pit side access to watch the action up close as well as access to VIP hospitality.
The end to perfect weekend couldn't have been more perfect. With the team finishing the race in third place, every guest got the extra special experience of being lead into victory lane by Wayne Taylor himself to sip the champagne and pose with the trophy.
"First of all, a big thanks to Wayne Taylor and his entire organization for providing a first class experience to all of our guests. It's a privilege for Miracle Sealants to be affiliated with this wonderful team. A big thanks also to all of our guests for coming out and supporting our company. We can't do it without each and everyone of them and events like this are a small way for us to share our success with the people who help to make it happen. We're looking forward to our next ‘Ride of a Lifetime' weekend," said Al and Joe Salvo of Miracle Sealants.
